The German pension insurance institutions keep a joint data processing centre which is administered by Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund. In Germany, this data processing centre is a receiving and sortation office. Within the EU it performs the function as a "designated body" for the pension insurance institutions with regard to the transfer of data.
