Declaration on accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund website published at https://login.eservice-drv.de/eLogin/ and https://www.eservice-drv.de/eLogin. .
Accessability of this website
Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund endeavours to make the website https://login.eservicedrv.de/eLogin/ and https://www.eservice-drv.de/eLogin accessible. The legal basis for this is the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) as amended.
The redesign and development of this website focussed on user-friendliness and accessibility. An accessibility test was carried out in February 2022. The basis for the test was BITV 2.0 from 21 May 2019, which is why the test includes the new requirements of WCAG 2.1. The WCAG test is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 from 5 June 2018.
A website is considered BITV-compliant if it fulfils all the requirements of BITV 2.0. A website is considered WCAG-compliant if it fulfils all the success criteria of level AA of WCAG 2.1.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The eLogin web application is not fully compatible with the requirements. There is content that makes it difficult for people with disabilities to retrieve information or access it.
Non-accessible content
- Contents in German sign language and plain language are missing.
- Alternative texts for some control elements are not available.
- In some cases, the heading structure does not correspond to a logical hierarchy.
- The purpose of input fields for user-related data cannot be determined.
- The contrast ratio of text and input fields is sometimes too low compared to the surrounding colours.
- Content on the website cannot be viewed in a smaller window width without horizontal scrolling.
- The jump link „Jump to application navigation“ and the jump links in the error listing of an incorrectly completed form do not move the focus correctly.
- There are no recognisable awards for different page ranges.
- The pages do not have a meaningful and always the same document title.
- The focus sequence for input fields and navigation does not correspond to the content sequence.
- The focus is not always sufficiently visible during keyboard navigation.
- Designations or words in other languages are not labelled as such.
- Error messages in input fields cannot be determined programmatically.
- Mandatory fields are not marked as such.
- The syntax is not consistently valid on the website.
Explanation
Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund is constantly working on improving the portals provided. Due to the diversity of the website, it has not yet been possible to make all content and services digitally accessible. The employees of Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund are endeavouring to remove all obstacles for people with disabilities as quickly as possible.
Non-accessible documents
While we generally make our brochures in PDF format accessible or low-barrier shortly after publication, this does not yet apply to all PDF documents. For specialist publications and press releases that were published before September 2018 and are not part of an active administrative procedure, for example, there is generally no provision for subsequent conversion into accessible PDF documents. In the case of newly published PDF documents for download, we endeavour to provide an accessible version in the near future.
If you require a specific PDF file that is not yet available in an accessible format, please contact us at team-authentifizierung@drv-bund.de or at the address below. Please specify the form in which you require the file and the e-mail address / postal address to which we may send it to you.
